Resumen:
enzodiazepines are commonly prescribed for the therapy of disorders such as anxiety and sleep disturbance,but develop dependence in many patients. In this review we discuss the impact of different brain areas that modulate thereward system in the development of tolerance and dependence to benzodiazepine and the associative processes underlyingthose fenomena.
