Resumen:
rain of rats reared in enriched conditions of stimulation (EC) show an statistically significant increase of total gangliosides in the non-olfactory cortex compared with its counterpart of rats reared in impoverished conditions of stimulation (IC). No other area showed equally significant differences. Results are discussed in relation to a possible function of gangliosides in the release of neurotransmitters during the process of stimulus perception.
