Telework and Disability. Analysis of the situation and outlook regarding to Great Córdoba. Argentina.

We present in this event some results of our research project supported by a biannual Secyt - UNC grant (2012-2013). It addresses both, telecommuting and disability topics, with a comprehensive analysis of how this kind of work can help to expand employment opportunities for people with physical disabilities living in urban and suburban Córdoba (Argentina). The design is based on international research conducted for other areas, specifically, we interviewed Human Resources managers employed in important companies in our field, to personal in charge of provincial and municipal agencies that address these issues, to Human Resources consultants and to people with motility disabilities. Although the results are still under analysis. We also evaluated, by using the same assumptions, the current legislation, the state programs that promote employment under this system and the technological and demographic trends identified for the Greater Córdoba area in Argentina.
