Resumen:
Among the MOF´s attractive properties are its high permanent porosity, adjustable pore size, and the possibility of modifying their poreenvironments with crystallographic precision1. As a result, MOFs have potential applications in several different fields such as gas storage, selective capture, and release of active substances such as the fungicide Thiram; among others. This last application includes the diffusion of these target molecules throughout the whole material?s porous network and the ability of the material to selectively non-covalently incorporate them in the structure. In this work, we optimized the synthesis and characterization of thermally and chemically stable Zr-based MOF crystals with octahedral shape and ~50 nm side, themed nMOF-808.
