Resumen:
A task-based approach aims to give learners tasks to transact and this in turn will drive forward language development. The tasks themselves create a need for language change and a means for fulfilling that need. According to Skehan (1999) task characteristics predispose learners to channel their attention in predictable ways towards aspects of language use such as accuracy, complexity or fluency. The purpose of this research is twofold. Firstly, it will show students and teachers of grammar which are the most frequent lexico-grammatical mistakes made by students at university level, secondly, it will reveal whether or not different tasks affect these students? grammar performance
