We evaluated the response of the  antioxidant system through the assay of glutathione reductase (GR), guaiacol peroxidase (POD) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx). Additionally, the effect of DCBs on the detoxication system by measuring the activity of glutathione-Stransferase (GST) was evaluated.
