iabetes mellitus can be defined as a disturbance in carbohydrate, protein, and lipid metabolism, caused by a relative or absolute insuline deficiency.(1)The diabetes during pregnancy is classified into two groups: the one that precedes gestation, Pregestational DM and the one whose glucose intolerance is developed during pregnancy, Gestational DM.(1,4)At the same time, pregestational DM can be divided into: Type I1 diabetes and ttype II2 diabetes (T1DM and T2DM). T2DM is characterized by resistance to insulin.
