Resumen:

Organized along the lines of the current syllabus of GramáticaContrastiva ?subject included in the curricula of the translation course atFacultad de Lenguas ? UNC, the main aim of Contrastive Grammar: A Theory andPractice Handbook is to provide the students with a handoutthat will bring together a descriptive grammar of both English and Spanish. Itis not a complete review of all the existing cross-linguisticdifferences between these two languages but one that combines basic theoreticalinformation and varied practice on the main disparate structures thatconstitute the most frequent source of negative interference.
