Organized along the lines of the current syllabus of GramáticaContrastiva ?subject included in the curricula of the translation course atFacultad de Lenguas - UNC, the main aim of Contrastive Grammar: A Handout isto provide the students with a handout that will bring together adescriptive grammar of both English and Spanish. It is not acomplete review of all the existing cross-linguistic differences between thesetwo languages but one that combines basic theoretical information and variedpractice on the main disparate structures that constitute the most frequentsource of negative interference.
