espite the arguments against the feminist translation practices of the so-called Canadian School, in which they are devalued, criticized and discredited mainly because of their focus on Canadian experimental writing or in which their innovative potential is questioned, from the perspective of transnational feminist traductology, the impact that these practices have had on the field of translation studies is vindicated (Flotow, 2017, 2019: Castro and Spoturno, 2020) and new insights are proposed around current notions of gender that revisit and enrich said practices. It is from this perspective that I propose to reflecto on the translation practices, on both the textual and paratextual aspects, in my Spanish version of Notes from a Feminist Killjoy. Essays on Everyday life (Wunker, 2016) to provide an empirical study that accounts for these strategies in the context of reception of the translated work.
