Resumen:
The Sm2Co17 alloys have excellent hard magnetic properties, and a Curie temperature of 973 K, which is more than twice that the observed in the Nd2Fe14B phase. In the Sm2Co17 bulk system, the coercivity is controlled by magnetic domain walls pinning at grain boundaries, so that to optimize this property nanometric grain sizes may be useful. The bulk alloy has been studied in detail, however, the synthesis of SmCo nanowires (which may add the shape anisotropy) by electrodeposition in aqueous medium, has been little explored
