Resumen:
Most teachers would theoretically recognize the important role played by grammar in language adcquisition. Howerer, most EFL teachers underestimate the pedagogical relevance of using contrastive analysis EFL students´ grammatical erros. Thus, the aims of this papere are to focus on one aspect of error identification and analysis:EFL learner´use of fist language grammar and strutures when speaking, and to make EFL teachers awere of the importance of using contrastive analysis to understand their learner´s tranfer problems in the field of grammar so as to help their students to monotor more efectively for those errors
