Resumen:
This presentation will attempt to interpret learner´s errors from the two fold perspective of (i) literacy in L1 negative or positive influence and/or (ii) absence of literacy in either language. Examples of errors will be taken from the data collected in an on-going research project carried out at the School of Languages and whose aim is to investigate learner´s errors in written production. errors have already been described and diagnosed. The intention will be to show preliminary findings (errors) can be related to the influence of the underlying behaviour of literacies in the building of written texts.
