Resumen:
Grammar has always been at the centre of the great debates about language learning and language teaching pedagogy. This paper aims to show EFL teachers why, when teaching grammar, it is advisable to choose an eclectic approach that bridges the gap between a single prescriptive model of presentation of new language and the more challenging view of language teaching as an unpredictable process where a varied collection of learning and teaching styles interact to produce a flexible range of potential models.
