Resumen:
The
purpose of this presentation is to discuss the pedagogical issues behind
on-site writing centers and face-to-face tutorials. Incorporated into these issues are the
challenges to prospective consultants for writing centers in Argentina. The presentation is grounded in writing
center theory, but relies on firsthand experience gleaned from five years of
working in an on-site writing center.
