Resumen:
Recently, fabrication of porous-structured polymer films with patterned surface structurea at the scale from nanometer to microstructure has been attracting increasing interests in material science. in the present work, a series of hydrophobic surface films by breath figure (BF) based on self-assembled diblock copolymers were used to fabricate the porous-structured polymer films. The aim of the present study was to fabricate and evaluates the microstructures and morphological properties of the surface characteristic of the block copolymer films by varying the structure of the co-monomers. In this work, we also investigate the effect of UV-Vis irradiation and thermalannealing on the control the uniformity of the porous-structured polymer films. The roughness, thickness and wettability of the block copolymer films were determined. The results by SEM and AFM micrographs indicate that the microstructure tends to self-assemble due to the amphiphilic characteristics giving a rough and porous morphology. subsequently, the water contact angle of flat surface were > 90º by inducing an adequate roughness. the results post UV-vis irradiation procedure showed improving the film quality and order in the filmswith hydrophobic properties. The block copolymers were characterized by H-NMR, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy, thermal analysis and optical behavior.
