Resumen:
In the present communication we report the photochemical reactions of substituted thiiranes (1) with Tetranitromethane (TNM) and Chloranil (CA) as electron acceptors.
We discuss the mechanism of these SET reactions by using TNM and CA as electron acceptor and by changing the solvent (acetonitrile and methanol) and the structure of thiirane.
