Resumen:
This paper analyses Argentinean regional labor markets for the period 1997-2013. It tests regional wage convergence and wage flexibility based on semiparametricestimation techniques. Evidence on wage convergence among Argentinean provinces isfound. Wages do not seem to be flexible, depending mainly on the evolution of theaverage national wage while having small response to changes in local productivity or unemployment. Unions could to be responsible for this process.
