The economic space across the world has received the impact of a succession of very fast changes both economic and political which have been taking place. In Argentina’s case, structural changes, grouped as trade policy and institutional reforms have caused spatial effects; similarly, adjustment macroeconomic policies have taken place. We will attempt to empirically test if in fact there have been changes of magnitude in the spatial structure of the Argentine economy, as can be thought of a priori. If this has been the case, the characteristics of this geographical space change process should be known. In this paper, we will deal with some indicators, already known in the literature, such as the Location Coefficient and the Specialization Coefficient. We will also introduce our own indicators. Our results will be presented in the form of four separate spatial alternatives.
