Stability indicating methods have become an important aspect to Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements. Besides, there is an increase tendency towards the development of stability indicating assay, using the approach of stress testing as mentioned in the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH, guidelines Q1A) and Guidance for Industry (FDA) concerning in vivo bioavailability that includes a discussion on gastrointestinal stability (GS).
