i> The gas phase thermal decomposition of FC(O)OOC(O)F was studied at temperatures between 40 and 70 ºC using FTIR spectroscopy to follow the course of the reaction. The decomposition was studied at different partial pressures of NO between 90 to 180 mbar and using N2 to set the total pressure to 1000 mbar.
