Solid-state physical characterization of a pharmaceutical substance is necessary for successful development and control of the final product; mainly its polymorphic characterization. Classical methods like XC-ray diffraction and thermal analysis sometimes fo not five enough evidence to undestand temperature phase transitions. For that reason, it is important to evaluate non-conventional physical analytical techniques using synchrottron radiation usch as wide angle X ray diffraction (WAXD) simultaneously with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and nuclear quadrupolar resonance.
