Resumen:
1-(4-Acetamido-benzenesulfonyl)-benzimidazole (PABZI), a new benzimidazole derivative with higher inhibitory potency than benznidazole against Trypanosoma cruzi, 1 exhibits crystalline polymorphism. The aim of this study was to determine the equilibrium solubility, powder dissolution rate, wettability and stability towards heat and humidity of the two most viable solid forms of PABZI, viz. the anhydrous form (PABZI-anh) and the isopropanol solvate (PABZI-iso).
