MethodsDescriptive and retrospective study. The personal data of patients attending to get their cholesterol-lowering drugs were collected in four pharmacies during two months. Cholesterolemia values were searched on the medical records of children and / or grandchildren and / or great-grandchildren. The values of cholesterolemia were classified based on international consensus values for adults and paediatric patients.Results100 adult patients with diagnosed HC and 158 descendants adults and 244 paediatric patients were evaluated. We found, in descendants, high cholesterol in 25% of adults and 30% of children and slightly raised cholesterol in 32% of adults and 30% of children.
