Resumen:
p>Air stable (Cyclopentadienyl)Mo(NO)(Cl)(x-crotyl) complexes add to aldehydes in the presence of methanol to yield homoallylic alcohols with high regioselectivity and diastereoselectivity. Reactionof (-)-(S)-Neomenthylcyclopentadienyl)Mo(NO)(Cl)(pi-crotyl) with henzaldehyde yields (+)-(R,R)-2-methyl-I-phenyl-3-buten-l-o1 in >98% ee.
