?         The consistency observed between the experimental and computational results for these compounds proves a valuable contribution to understanding the reactivity of the system.

?         The synthesis of 13,13-dichlorotricyclo[7.3.1.02,7]tridec-2(7)ene, 13-hydroxytricyclo [7.3.1.02,7]tridec-2(7)ene and 3,6-dibromo tricyclo[7.3.1.02,7]tridec-2(7)en-13-ona was performed.

?          The absence of the substitution reaction with alcohol 1 suggests that carbocation with sp2 hybridization is likely to be formed; however, the reaction path is determined by the stability of alkene.
