Resumen:
in several tissues MAO occurs in two functional isoforms, A and B, which exibit diferente specificities fortheir substrates and inhibitors. The A form is selectively inhibited by clorgyline , whereas teh B form is deprenyl-sensitive. In this study the forms of MAO involved i nthe iodotyrosine formation induce by monoamines that are MAO substrates were investigated.
