Resumen:
The National University of Cordoba is one of the institutions offering the widest range of academic university in Argentina, in our country It is the oldest (dating from 1613) and one of the largest. By 2011 the number of students was 121,476 in 9156 teaching positions and 83 degree programs. The university has twelve members of, two secondary schools, two hospitals and a laboratory school of blood. Like every university, our university aspires to excellence in their core missions: teaching, research and extension. The purpose of the paper is to make a contribution in this direction by analyzing and comparing the technical efficiency of the academic units between 2007 and 2011. The study considers the number of teachers and non-teaching positions, students, research projects and undergraduate courses offered. It uses a mathematical programming model nonparametric (Data Envelopment Analysis), which allows to study the problem in a multi-input multi outputs. The results made it possible to observe the evolution of the performance of each academic unit in the period and in turn give general guidelines for a possible redistribution of resources to improve the performance of the University as a whole.
