Resumen:
!--[if gte mso 9]> Astrocytes respond to environmental cues includingchanges in temperatures. Increased deimination, observed in many progressiveneurological diseases are thought to be contributed by astrocytes. Wedetermined the level of deimination and expression of peptidylargininedeiminase 2 (PAD2) in isolated primary astrocytes in response to changes oneither side (31°C as well as 41°C) of the optimal temperature (37°C). Weinvestigated changes in the astrocytes using a number of established markersand also accounted for cell death using theCelltiter blue assay. We foundincreased expression of GFAP, ALDH1L1 and J1-31 due to increased temperatureincubation and increased expression of TSP1, S100B and AQP4 due to decreasedtemperature incubation from optimal temper
