his article explores the possibilities offered by diagrammatic representations for the teaching of spoken English in  the context of Business English course. Those diagrammatic representations are called "framework materials". The article presents framework materials freqwquently described in the literature on EBP, as well as other framework materials taken from the business context , such as the SWOT matrix .
