his paper focuses on the experience of preparing future ESP ?EAP teachers to design and deliver effective oral presentations, taking into account pragmatic issues related to posture, body language etc. and orality issues related to the management of voice, pauses, rhythm and discourse markers. The context of this experience is the English teacher training track at the School of Languages of Cordoba State University. In the chair of Didàctica Especial II and Observaciòn y pràctica de la Enseñanza II, one of its strands is ESP. This paper will deal with the activities implemented to develop procedural knowledge as to how to design and deliver effective oral presentations. This knowledge can enable ESP practitioners to be effective communicators and to prepare business English (BE) students for efficient sales presentations and effective participation in meetings and negotiations, which, as every ESP practitioner knows, are key communicative events in the BE field.Key words: ESP, prese
