his paper reports the development of a simple, precise and specific HPLC procedure for the determination of two new methylated isoxazolylnaphthoquinones with an amine group in the 4-position of the isoxazole ring, which are examples of exocyclic tautomers. The analytical procedure involved the use of the internal standardization method which was applied for the qualitative and quantitative determination of both compounds using a C-18 Lichrosorb column in an isocratic mode and sulfadiazine as internal standard.
