o obtain R-substituted acetylpyrroles, we studied the reactions of enolate ions of 2-acetyl (1) and 3-acetyl (6) 1-methylpyrroles with some aryl and alkyl iodides under different reaction conditions; this is the first report on the reactivity of these nucleophiles in SRN1 reactions.
