s a result of the inrush of the new digital paradigm, which affects not only the economic activities, companies need to adapt to a context in which digital technologies quickly penetrate.We performed an exploratory study in medium-sized companies of Córdoba, to identify which are the main conditioning factors of the reconversion process. Our research indicate that the main challenge of this companies is to handle a work schedule and the subsequent resource allocation that supports the current business model while transformation conditions towards the future are developed. We have designed a methodology, which promotes the company transformation towards a management system that streamlines exploitation, while energizing exploration, so as to achieve the necessary reconversion in dynamic markets in a resource shortage scenario.
