Resumen:
his manuscript presents novel insights related to the synthesis and characterization of a stimuli-responsive hybrid magnetic nanoplatform (HMNP) for the triggered delivery of tamoxifen (TMX), intended to improve breast cancer therapy. We described the preparation of HMNP obtained by conjugating Fe3O4 nanoparticles with L-cysteine (L-Cys) and hyaluronic acid (HA). These modifiers improve aqueous dispersibility and, HA serves as a cell-specific targeting ligand. We fully characterize the nanomaterial physicochemically, its colloidal stability, and its interaction with plasma proteins. The HMNP exhibited small size, high stability, and efficient TMX loading (75%). Although we observed efficient control over TMX release toward different receptor media, drug release from HMNP-TMX was triggered at acidic pH and hyperthermia conditions, demonstrating its responsiveness to both stimuli. We also observed enhanced anticancer activity of TMX against MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells when loaded int
