Resumen:
The organometallic chemistry offers the possibility of synthesizingcoordination compounds or complexes formed by organic molecules andmetal centers. The most widely used complexes come from noble metalswith specific ligands. However, the synthesis of complexes with transitionmetals and sugars as ligands has allowed to obtain complexes with greaterstability. Among the most used transition metals for the synthesis of thesecomplexes are the iron (Fe), copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn) salts, among others.Stable complexes have been synthesized with cyclodextrins thatdemonstrated catalytic activity4. The synthesis of complexes with thecyclodextrins (CD) and a second asymmetric type ligand was proposed, which, upon joining the metal salt center, have the capacity to improve boththeir catalytic activity and their stability. The complexes were characterized through techniques such as IR, TGA,Abs. Atomic, titration of halogens and UV-Vis RD. With the integration ofthese techniques it was possible to determine stoichiometries, in some casesit was possible to propose structures. The complexes between ϒ-CD, CoBr2 and a second asymmetric ligand arestable against moisture, modifications are observed in the formation ofhydrogen bridges of CD. In addition, with UV.Vis spectroscopy RD, energiescorresponding to octahedral splits characteristic of cobalt were determined.
