Up to now, the etiopathogenesis of this disease is not well known which will be essential for the development of an effective clinical treatment. In the present work we apply discriminant analysis as statistical tools in order to associate biochemical parameters of diabetic patients with clinically significant macular edema (CSMO) from diabetic patients without CSMO.
