Resumen:
This paper aims to present the results of an exploration into the way vocabulary learning strategies (VLS) are developed and fostered in EFL coursebooks currently employed for elementary level General English courses in Córdoba. The analysis focused on identifying the number and kinds of vocabulary learning strategies in the sample. The present study aims at raising EFL teachers? awareness as to the differences that EFL textbooks may exhibit in vocabulary learning strategies
