¿Mejor no hablar de ciertas cosas? Human rights in the secondary school EFL curriculum

Human rights have a major presence in Argentinean educational policy, so that it is included as an interest area in the Year 6 EFL syllabus of upper secondary schools in the province of Córdoba. The presentation describes a task-based teaching unit around the topic of human rights violation for elementary level learners with low exposure to English. The unit is rooted in principles of materials development and instructed second language acquisition theory.
