p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal">We studied the kinetics of the hydrolysis of esters and amides of general structure 1: CF3(CF2)nCOXArZ, (n=0-3, 5-7, X=O or NH)  and it was found that they are affected by ciclodextrin in different ways depending on the leaving group and on the length of the perfluoroalkyl chain. The reactions of the amides (n=0, Z=NO2) and all the esters are catalyzed at pH 10. However con Z=H, n=0) there is inhibition for the amide and catalysis for the esters. All the reactions of the esters are inhibited by cyclodextrin at pH 6 and in some cases also are inhibited at pH 10.
