Resumen:
The purpose of this presentation is to develop a composite indicator to evaluate and to determine the physiological condition of patients on treatment of dialysis. This indicator should be reliable and consistent. It is sought to establish an order of alternatives pursuant to various criteria, which support the physiological conditions of these patients.Composite indicators can be understood quickly and easily and they give a guidance to follow. To formalize the composite indicator we have considered the clinical laboratories. The study was conducted in one of the most important hospital in Córdoba (Argentina). To solve the problem, we have applied the Multi-criteria Decision Analysis Method: MOORA (Multi-criteria Objective Optimization on the basis Ratio Analysis). The referral to experts in order to define the evaluation criteria and the relative weights has been performed by application of the Delphi Method.
