Eficiencia en la graduación: el rol de los factores institucionales y de las características personales

This work decomposes the efficiency in the graduation of university institutions (empirical application for the case of the National University of Córdoba) in that portion of it that depends on the characteristics of the individuals and that corresponds to be attributed to the institution in the who did their studies.A DEA-VRS model is applied taking individuals (graduates) as DMUs, and as inputs the average of grades and the quotient between the theoretical and effective duration of the career; while the average grade of the first year, the studies of the father and the mother, were used as outputs.The preliminary results show an important effect of the institutions on the level of efficiency achieved by the graduates.
