Resumen:
Progress made by Argentinean women in science and higher education over the last decades has been remarkable. Nevertheless, a deeper inquiry into the causes that facilitated the advancement of women in academia reveals that teaching and research jobs have undergone a process of feminization and substantial gender inequalities still abound in higher education.
