p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none">The Quantum Master Equation is derived by generalizing the  van Kampen method. Starting with a stochastic SehrSdinger equation and taking into account the finite quantum correlation-time of the thermal bath, we have proved a Fluctuation-Dissipation like relation, which preserves normalization on p. A tight-binding like hamiltonian in interaction with a phonon bath has been worked out within our approach. The contimmus limits is also studied.
