We obtain the quantum Boltzmann equation for the occupation number of electronic states, for the POLARON model. The calculation is performed under the picture of a quantum dynamical semigroup (Kossakowski-Lindblad). Starting from a microscopic dynamics, we also discuss the formal aspects of these quantum semigroups deduced from second order perturbation theory. Our formalism allows us to obtain the mean value and the fluctuations of any physical observable for the system of interest.
