Minimum wage and education premium in Argentina: 2004-2014

During the  period  2004  to  2014,  as  Argentina  was recovering from one of its most important economic crisis, there was  an  important  reduction  of  the  education  wage  premium. Among  the  reasons  for  this  behavior  we  find  out  that  the increase  in  the  minimum  wage  played  an  important  role. However,  while  the  average  wage  premium  fell  during  the period here analyzed, there was an increase in the dispersion of wages, especially for informal workers. In this last regards, the relative minimum wage appears to have also influenced.
