Resumen:
In this paper we try to establish a monetary policy rule for Argentina using a model which is in line with the Taylor Rule (Taylor, 1993), but aggregating the influence of two other variables which are considered essential for the behavior of the argentine economy, as they are the real exchange rate and the fiscal deficit. Therefore, the research question which we will try to find an answer for, is whether the Argentina?s Central Bank (BCRA here in) has been setting rules following the scheme of Taylor, but particularly contemplating the influence of the mentioned variables during the last thirteen years.
