Resumen:
In Spain, as in the rest of Europe, during the year 2010 the adaptation of
communications studies at the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) will be completed,
seeking for responses to the demands, challenges and goals described in the so-called
"Bologna Process", as well as satisfy the society expectations towards the new educational
horizon. As result of this situation our study comes up in order to critically analyze the new
content and training proposals in the Communication Sciences graduates, discovering the
future profiles of new graduates, we conducted a systematic and comparative study of the
objectives, fields of knowledge (subjects), content and competences described in the new
and old plan of studies in Spanish Universities. The sample selection has been narrowed
down to those centres (publics and privates) with more seniority and providing the three
official communication studies: Advertising and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication
and Journalism. Those criteria allow us to obtain a general scene of Spanish educational
process.
