Resumen:
Phonology is considered one of the key elements that provide the gear for meaning conveyance.
This proposal deals with the teaching of pronunciation in the early stages of secondary school
since it has been proved that IL phonology is likely to change if the formation of acoustic images
of the TL sound patterns starts around this period. Based on the analysis of textbooks, we
suggest activities that teach pronunciation in an integrated and systematic fashion.
