Resumen:
metal ions complexing agent, hexamethylenediamine tetrapropanoic acid in chlorhydrate form (HMDTP.HCl) was synthesized. In a first step, through addition Michael reaction, hexamethylenediamine and acrylonitrile reacted to give a cyanide-derivative. Then, this product was hydrolyzed with HCl aqueous solution to reach HMDTP.HCl. After that the purification and characterization of this last product was realized, the optimization of the coupling reactions from HMDTP or disodium ethylenediamine tetraacetate (EDTA) on poly (ethylene glycol dimethachrylate-hydroxyethyl methachrylate-butanediol-diglycidyl ether) poly(EGDMA-HEMA)-BDGE activated matrix was carried out. Finally, the chelation of metal ions on the final products [poly(EGDMA-HEMA-BDGE)-HMDTP and poly(EGDMA-HEMA-BDGE)-EDTA] was assayed.
